Chamber & Community Plan Holiday Events

Thanks to the generosity of several sponsors, The Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce will once again host the Bassnanza Fishing Tournament on Kerr Lake. Over $10,000 in prize money will be given away at the weigh-in, with 1st Place paying $5,000, sponsored by People, Inc. The Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Big Bass Bonus of $500 which will go to the single fish weighing the most. The event will take place on Saturday, October 3rd starting at first light. The fishermen are allowed to fish one pool up and one pool down from Kerr Lake and can trailer one time to a ramp that is accessible to the Arkansas River.
